COVID Policy Adjustments

This page contains all the adjustments to our policies - found elsewhere - during the COVID pandemic.  It is updated regularly to adhere and adapt to a rapidly changing landscape. Please check back often. When policies are no longer relevant, they will be removed form the page. We appreciate your patience as we refine out policies and need to make rapid changes that may cause turbulence. Unless otherwise mentioned, all other policies remain the same.

If you have any questions, please email info@endgamesimprov.com

FOR ALL DROP-IN AND CLASSES STARTING AFTER AUGUST 1ST

Class Structure Changes

All capacity and duration are back to normal.

Use of Facility Changes

Except to wash hands, the kitchen is not to be used by students. Eating at our facilities will not be allowed, drinks are acceptable from personal bottles and cups. Students are not to congregate in the hallways.

To provide maximum air flow, rooms will have all doors and windows open at all times. Fans will be positioned when possible. Each room will have an appropriately sized HEPA filter.

Due to the open air flow and equipment, temperatures may be closer to outside conditions and noise levels raised.

Behavior, Vaccine, and Masks

Students are required to show proof of vaccine on their first day of class. While we understand not everyone is able to get the vaccine, we are starting with one round of classes to allow for the San Francisco region to hit herd immunity. We are working of accommodations.

While in our facilities, masks are optional. As much as possible, class exercises and scene work will take place with students staying in their own socially distance portion of the room.

Should you show symptoms or test positive for COVID during the start and end date of the class, we require you to inform our staff. We will pass this information up to the city and state regulators who may perform contract tracing. Keeping your identity anonymous, we will inform anyone who may have come in contact with you.

Our Staff and Maintenance

Our staff will be required to be vaccinated before returning to work and required to inform us of symptoms and positive tests. Staff will be provided with N95 masks.

In the lobby, we will provide hand sanitizer for all users of the facility. The CDC has presented guidelines that excessive cleaning is not necessary. All high contact areas (door handles, bathrooms, et al) will be washed nightly with soap.

Make-up Policy and Deferment

We encourage customers who may be feeling sick to defer entire classes or to be absent when needed. Endgames is waiving the fee for the first deferment made to each class purchase. Class credits do not expire and can be used at any time. Requests for refunds would trigger a fee. For this reason, we ask you not to sign up if you know you are leaving the Bay Area and may not be able to attend future offerings.

To allow students who were sick, we will be allowing individual make-up days to meet the minimum attendance needed to pass. These make-up days may be done up to two entire class cycles after your enrollment.

Waiver

Students understand that there is inherent risk of contracting COVID by participating in the class and that the nature of our classes raises the risk profile. In the event of contracting COVID, students agree to hold harmless Endgames Improv, LLC and their staff from any and all liability.

FOR CLASSES STARTING JULY 12, 13, 14, and 15

Class Structure Changes

In-person classes will be capped at 8 students and 1 instructor. For multiday offerings, classes are shortened to 2 hours of instruction for 6 weeks. This roughly provides an equivalent instructor hour to student ratio that existed before.

To pass a class, students must attend 5 out of 6 classes. See the updated make-up policy below.

Graduations shows will be streamed live with the students in-person only.

To provide maximum air flow, rooms will have all doors and windows open at all times. Fans will be positioned when possible. The front door will be open and staff will be assigned to monitor when needed. Air flow will start at the front and out the classroom windows to remove air as quickly as possible.  Each room will have an appropriately sized HEPA filter.

Due to the open air flow and equipment, temperatures may be closer to outside conditions and noise levels raised.
